Urdu Bible – کتابِ مُقدّس

Urdu Bible is the complete Bible in Urdu: all 66 books, with a Roman Urdu line under every verse.

The Urdu is set in Nastaʿlīq, the flowing calligraphic script the language is traditionally written in. Roman Urdu is those same words in the Latin alphabet, for people who speak Urdu but never learned to read the script.

That pairing is the point. A grandparent reading Nastaʿlīq and a grandchild reading Roman can sit with the same verse at the same time, and neither one is reading a translation of the other.

Otherwise it stays out of the way. No sign-up, no ads, no clutter. It opens where you left off and needs no internet at all.
